Dr. Bruce Handloff, D.C., has been practicing in Santa Cruz and Capitola since 1985, is a Palmer graduate and a specialist in Diversified technique. The diversified technique is used by chiropractors to adjust fixated and misaligned spinal segments in the back or neck, and is one of the most common and effective forms of chiropractic treatment. The goal of diversified treatment is to repair and restore proper biomechanical functioning to the spine by removing fixations. The diversified technique is also very effective in restoring proper biomechanics to the extremities.
After a complete examination and if necessary, x-rays, Dr. Handloff utilizes techniques of gentle, low amplitude manipulations to the area. Dr. Handloff also utilizes restorative soft tissue techniques and range of motion maneuvers to support the chiropractic adjustments.
